On Saturday, September 16th, Dan O'Brien got some workers together, and with their help, finally completed his Eagle Scout Project. It involved building a shelter for injured birds outside the home of a bird rehabilitator. The project was complicated both in construction and in raising the money to get the materials. The lumber came from Chase-Pitkin, and the bird boxes were supplied by the rehabilitator.

At the point of the project's completion, all that was left for Danny to do to get Eagle was to write up his project report and pass his board of review.
